In the past few years, the majority of countries in the world have introduced English as a foreign language at earlier stages of learning. The TOEFL® Young Students Tests held by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) have been designed for age-appropriate learning levels of young students. As the newest addition to the TOEFL Family of Assessments, the TOEFL® Primary™ tests set the right foundation for successful development of English-language skills. They are intended for students of ages 8+ and are offered as three different tests: the Reading and Listening test – Step 1, the Reading and Listening test – Step 2, and the Speaking test – Steps 1 & 2.

Preparation Book for the TOEFL Primary – Step 2 has carefully been worked out to meet the needs of young learners. This book can be used to enhance their English ability, especially the reading, listening, and speaking skills. Each unit focuses on a particular test category and each lesson introduces a topic with words, phrases, and expressions in context. Grammar and speaking points are briefly shown. In addition, the mini tests and the two full tests with sample directions familiarize learners with the format and content of the actual test. Practically, the Workbook section at the end helps learners review and further consolidate the language components and skills acquired in the preceding parts.

On completion of the book, students will be able to not only achieve their goals in an academic environment but communicate effectively in real life as well.
