Telling The Time Flashcards

Help children learn to tell the time with this pack of 50 wipe-clean flashcards and a pen. The cards are colour-coded to show different times and allow children to practise ordering numbers on a clock face and creating any time on a clock, and in words. The durable, wipe-clean cards offer endless opportunities to practise.

The cards are colour-coded: purple (o'clock times), dark blue (half past), red (a quarter past), green (a qarter to), yellow (other times) and grey (12:00 to 12:55). The light blue cards allow you to practise ordering numbers on a clock face and expressing any time on any clock, and in words.

Find the cards for the times you want to practise and look at both sides to see a time shown on a clock face, a digital clock and written in words. Use the pen to fill in the empty clock faces, and spaces for numbers and words. To make it more difficult, shuffle the cards and see if you can fill in the answers.
